This is Killing me…

This is starting to do my head in. :/

You see, all this change started when I finally decided to revamp my comics. Replace all the old Comic Sans, correct errors, fix layout problems, use specialised fonts, etc.

Then an opportunity arose for me to not just revamp the comics, but update the whole website! Brilliant! So that’s what I rushed ahead and did.

The only problem was that I couldn’t just copy the archive from one site to the next. It had to be manually redone. “No probs” I thought. Then there were the all the new features, and now a new way to display comics… and all of this is very good. But I got ahead of what I originally intended. The revamp.

So now I find myself uploading old comics, with errors and issues that make me want to scream, but no time to  fix them until later. AND I’m falling behind on my weekly comic schedule since I don’t actually have anywhere to put them until the archive is replenished.

Moral of the Story: Don’t get ahead of yourself. A cool idea badly presented is not so cool after all.
